Services for Melba Haines, 91, Fayetteville, Ark., will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Underwood Cemetery near Williamstown.

Mrs. Haines died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at her home.

She was born June 15, 1908, in Williamstown, the daughter of George and Portia (Martin) Hamm.

Mrs. Haines was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Laptad, Joplin, Mo., Jack Laptad, Olathe, and Richard Laptad, Wichita; a daughter, Irene Laptad Holmes, Fayetteville, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Sue Ann Ott, Prairie Village, and Marcia Roulier, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Norman Hamm, Lawrence, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
