
<p>Marion
 E. James, 94, of Las Vegas, NV (formerly of Overland Park, KS), died 
January 6, 2012, at the Manor Health Care Center, Las Vegas, under the 
care of Odyssey Hospice. Mrs. James was born October 16, 1917, in Kansas
 City, Kansas, and had lived most of her life in the Kansas City area. 
<p>She retired in 1983 as a bookkeeper with Kay's Fash- ions, Kansas City, 
Kansas, and was a member of the Grandview Baptist Church. <p>She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O. James, sister, Ruth 
Hostetler, and her parents, George and Ruth Hamm. <p>Survivors include her 
daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Gary L. Jenkins of Las Vegas, and two
 grandsons, Gary Douglas Jenkins and David Todd Jenkins, both of Las 
Vegas. <p>Cremation with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City,
