Franklin Daily Journal 20 Apr 2004 MORGANTOWN Mary Jane Johnson, 80, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Morgantown. She was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Michigan City. Her parents were Louis Carl and Catherine Emma (Logmann) Peo. She married Henry Samuel Johnson on July 13, 1951, in Michigan City. He preceded her in death April 9, 1974. Survivors include three sons, Johnny Cordray of Morgantown, Sammy Johnson of Florida and Danny Johnson of Mooresville; seven daughters, Lanna Neal of Pineville, Ky., Janet Brown, Sandra Johnson, Kathy Lynn Johnson and Pamela Jo Cline, all of Morgantown, Judy Walker of Brown County and Mary Jane Murray of Martinsville; 25 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Allen Cordray and an infant son; a sister, Catherine Ginther; a brother, Irvin Peo; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Rose Davis. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, quilting, bird watching, fishing, mushroom hunting, baking and cooking. The Rev. Donald Johnson will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation and Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
