43 of Ewing passed away Tuesday Jan. 3, 2012 at his residence. Ashley was born Junes 18, 1968 in Mason Co, Ky. And is the son of Wanda Brown Hurst and the late Elmer Gene Hurst. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife Valerie Johnson Hurst and two sons Christian and Noah Hurst. He is also survived by a brother Ricky (Gwen) Hurst of Flemingsburg. Ashley and Valerie were preceded in death by a son Alexander Hurst. He was a machinist at Stober Drives and had been an employee for several years at Brownings. In his spare time he was involved with Youth soccer, archery coach for 4-H and was a past president of the Flemingsburg Lions Club. He was a member of the Wallingford United Methodist Church. Services will be at 1 PM Saturday at the Wallingford United Methodist Church with the body lying instate 1 hour prior. Visitation will be from 5-9 Friday at Denton-Workman Funeral Home. Reverns Bob Ray and Bill Boldt will officiate. Burial will be in the Elizaville Cemetery.
