A funeral was conducted this afternoon for Mrs. Hattie F. McKenzie, 267 Moats Hollow Road, Waverly, who died at 8:30 p.m. October 24, 1981 at Memorial Hospital, Marysville.

She was 82. Mrs. McKenzie was born July 11, 1899 in Johnson County, KY, to George & Elizabeth Blanton Hitchcock.

She was a member of the Oil Springs United Baptist Church,
located in Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar McKenzie, who died in 1975, her parents, three sons and two daughters. Surviving are one son, Charles, of Waverly; and four daughters, Joyce Cantrell of Woodstock, Geneva Enz of Lucasville, Georgia Swisher of Tennessee and Carol Givens of Waverly.

Arrangements were made by the Hammerstein-cox Funeral Home.

Burial was in Lucasville Cemetery.
