BRUSHART, Audrey F. 1916-1999 Mrs. Audrey F. Brushart, 82, of East Second Street, Piketon, Ohio, died 6:25 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 1999, at Pleasant Hill Manor in Piketon. She was born November 6, 1916, in Paintsville, Ky., a daughter of the late Leck Blanton and Bessie Tackett Blanton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Piketon Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband, Glen L. Brushart, whom she married December 23, 1933; two sons, L. Eugene Brushart and his wife Sarah of Waverly and James A. Brushart and his wife Jo Ann of Piketon; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ollie Blanton of Piketon and Charles Blanton of Wayne, Mich.; two sisters, Ova Wells of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Norma Spitzer of Columbus, and a special niece, Brenda Shope of Wheelersburg. She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Orville, Hollie A. and Leck Blanton, Jr.; and one sister Oval Trumbull. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon, with Jim Duty, minister, officiating and interment in Mound Cemetery. Pike Co.
