Willie Jiles Riley, 69, of Greenfield, died Sept. 10 at his home. He was born July 5, 1940, in Morehead, Ky., a son of the late Grant and Angie Line (Ross) Riley. Mr. Riley worked at Indiana Rayon/Knitwear for 42 years, retiring in 2007. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Mr. Riley enjoyed hunting, raising big gardens and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include a brother, Norman (wife, Shirley) Riley of Morehead, Ky.; three sisters, Freda Russell of Madison, Ala., Naomi Joan Riley of Marion and Betty Lou Politt of Madison, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Homer, Ora, Donald and Arnold Riley; and four sisters, Bea Clark, Elsie Miller, Darlene Logan and Eloise Riley. Funeral services were September 14 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Rev. William Beauchat officiating. Burial followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
