Mrs. Marjorie Burriss Ervin, 52, of Garrison, died at 10:50 p.m. Monday,
October 8, 1984, in the Scioto Memorial Hospital, Portsmouth, Ohio,
after an extended illness. She was the wife of Charles Clayton Ervin.
Mrs.
Ervin was born in the Black Oak community of Lewis County on October
14, 1931, a daughter of Jesse and Delma Akers Burriss.
She was a member of the Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church.
Surviving
besides her husband are a daughter, Miss Sharon Ervin of Garrison,
three sons, Larry Ervin of South Shore, Kentucky, Gary and Steve Ervin,
both of Milford, Utah; a brother, Harlan Burriss of Morrow, Ohio; two
sisters, Mrs. James (Kay) Forman of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Joseph
(Lillian) Allen of Vanceburg and three grandchildren.
Services
will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 12, 1984, at the Bivens Chapel
Christian Holiness Church. Rev. Charlie Riggs officiated and burial was
made in the Waring Cemetery at Garrison.
