Mrs. Marjorie Burriss Ervin, 52, of Garrison, died at 10:50 p.m. Monday, 
October 8, 1984, in the Scioto Memorial Hospital, Portsmouth, Ohio, 
after an extended illness. She was the wife of Charles Clayton Ervin.<br><br>Mrs.
 Ervin was born in the Black Oak community of Lewis County on October 
14, 1931, a daughter of Jesse and Delma Akers Burriss. <br><br>She was a member of the Bivens Chapel Christian Holiness Church.<br><br>Surviving
 besides her husband are a daughter, Miss Sharon Ervin of Garrison, 
three sons, Larry Ervin of South Shore, Kentucky, Gary and Steve Ervin, 
both of Milford, Utah; a brother, Harlan Burriss of Morrow, Ohio; two 
sisters, Mrs. James (Kay) Forman of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Joseph 
(Lillian) Allen of Vanceburg and three grandchildren.<br><br>Services 
will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 12, 1984, at the Bivens Chapel 
Christian Holiness Church. Rev. Charlie Riggs officiated and burial was 
made in the Waring Cemetery at Garrison.
